Generations Together brings together seniors and 4-H youth
Franklin County 4-H leaders Heath Higbie and three peers launched Generations Together at the Senior Center about four months ago. About 15 4-Hers and elderly participants created six fair entries, with grandbooks showing letters and project notes. The program pairs a 4-H’er with a grandparent to work on 10 topics from affection to heritage, with plans to expand to nursing homes and add a pen-pal style Grandletters program.
