Ottawa High FCCLA trip to Nashville highlights youth issues
Traveling with The Herald Cherry and John Coen, rural Ottawa sponsors for Ottawa High School's FCCLA group, led students to the national convention at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The event covered leadership, family roles, obesity prevention and youth sessions through presentations and workshops. Aaron Lindsay and Roxy Nichols also describe a separate Independence Week road trip from June 30 through South Dakota to Arkansas, including camping at Shady Lake and hiking Petit Jean State Park.
