Wellborns Will Observe 50th Wedding Anniversary
Lyndon couple Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Wellborn celebrate their 50th anniversary with a Sunday reception from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at Lyndon United Methodist Church. Hosts are daughters and sons in law Dr. and Mrs. V. L. Norris Topeka Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dillon Pomona and Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Shellans Jr. Lexington Ky plus eight grandchildren. They married July 31 1923 in Netanaka. He taught in Morris County Kansas then led Lyndon schools nine years before serving as Lyndon State Bank cashier for 16 years until retirement in 1963. She ran Wellborn Dress Shop 1942-1966. No gifts requested.
