Man Builds Own Camper From Spare Time
Henry Alban of 715 Willow designed and built his own camper after finding manufactured models lacking. He spent about four months and $450, creating a lightweight 1060 pound unit with a 50 pound ice chest a collapsible dining table and low side windows for better visibility. The camper sleeps three and runs on truck battery or 110 volt power. He credits his wife for interior planning and notes the hardest part was shaping the curved front over the cab.
