Ottawa flood history shows levees held in 2007
Franklin County was declared a Federal Disaster Area after the 2007 flood. City officials, led by Radcliffe and Wynndee Lee, stressed levee upkeep and annual inspections to keep Ottawa safe. Residents faced road closures, water rescues, and flooded homes as streams and rivers peaked.
