Garnett Classic doubles as ABC tourney aids disabled players
Kevin Colter and Cindy Edgington faced off at the 1982 Garnett Classic part of the Kansas Association for Retarded Citizens Tennis Tour. The event showcases 85 competitors ranging from ages 6 to 75, including wheelchair participants, across nine divisions, promoting socialization and lifelong tennis skills amid 90 degree heat. Volunteers from Garnett Jaycees and local ABC chapters support the tour, now expanding with state finals in October.
