4-H Youths Compete At District Horse Show
Franklin County youth Kay Gragg earned a purple ribbon in showmanship for ages 16 and up at the district 4-H Horse Show, part of a statewide series leading to the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson September 14 to 16. About 107 youths from multiple counties competed in events including hunt seat, western pleasure, and barrel racing. judge Teddy Jo Smiths will also judge the state event.
