Girls testify against father in Minneapolis poisoning trial
In Minneapolis Donald Paul Ayres 31 of Culver faces two counts of attempted first degree murder two counts of child abuse and two counts of child endangerment after his daughters Ashley 10 and Chelsie 9 testified that he gave them drinks laced with ethylene glycol leading to dizziness coma and hospitalization. The girls described a greenish liquid in a jar and a bid to explain the poisoning amid questions from the defense about possible third-party influence.
