Getting Back Into Athletics at Ottawa University
Ottawa University's new football coach John Salavantis outlined a three pronged plan to repair OU's image and boost athletics. He aims to involve local Ottawa residents with tangible results, bring Kansas City Chiefs summer camp to Ottawa, and form a booster club tied to Braves Inc to connect downtown merchants with OU athletics. He cites support from President Robert E Shaw and coach recruitment targets of dual sport athletes to increase enrollment and stabilize finances.
