Northwest Kansas Nixes Cloud Seeding Expansion
The Northwest Kansas Groundwater Management District halted efforts to expand the Scott City based weather modification program into 11 northwestern counties. The program has operated since 1975 and counties would have funded equipment and an extra radar facility.
