Disappearance of Dallas Pridemore Still Puzzles Family
Army staff sergeant Dallas Pridemore vanished in Vietnam in 1968 at age 27. The Joint Task Force Full Accounting probes MIAs in Asia seeking truth on his fate. His family, including Rev. David Pridemore and sister Hettie Cooke, hold to all possibilities but increasingly accept likely death. The Pentagon lists him among 2202 MIAs, 55 of whom were alive when last seen. The task force has yet to find living remains or identify what happened in Cu Thien Thiet, Gia Dinh province.
