A teen driver struck a Pontiac in a two-vehicle crash on Main Street. Numerous calls include animal complaints, harassment, public assists, and suspicious activity. Ottawa Fire Department logged controlled burning and several medical calls. Fire crews assisted with 13 medical calls over the period.

First wax marijuana arrest linked to Franklin County man
Mark Richard Whiles, 27, of Ottawa, was granted a continuance for his felony arraignment set for 3:30 p.m. August 3 in Franklin County District Court.
