Cross-country drug haul nets 60 days
Lenora Clark testified she believed she was carrying about 45 pounds of marijuana when arrested in Franklin County in May 2008. Judge Thom as Sachse sentenced her to 60 days in Franklin County Jail followed by 18 months probation. County Attorney Heather Jones said 125 pounds were intended for sale from California to Minnesota. Clark’s attorney argued she is not a habitual drug trafficker, just a first-time offender.
