In Belfast Maine assistant librarian Mark Burns is charged with assault after a dispute over library computer use led to a fight with patron David Geoffrion. Police say Burns punched Geoffrion twice and the two struggled on the floor before others separated them. Burns faced a planned promotion to full time that council did not approve.
