Ottawa's Keith Whitacre ended a tight Legion B-team clash with an eighth inning homer to beat Osawatomie 4 3 at Orris Cox Field. Whitacre's two run blast broke a 3 3 tie and marked Ottawa's fourth hit of the night. Osawatomie left the bases loaded in both the sixth and seventh as Leitaker and Pennock pitched clutch innings. Ottawa finishes regular season 10 9, prepares for tourney against Lawrence. Osawatomie ends 11 5 after district loss.
