Parker acts as own attorney triggers mistrial in Saline

Oklahoma City man Anthony Parker, facing aggravated kidnapping charges in Saline County, attempted to sue Judge Daniel Hebert in federal court for 5 million dollars, prompting Hebert to disqualify himself and declare a mistrial. Parker, indigent and self-represented, cited insufficient prep time. Jurors were removed as the judge refused a postponement. The case ties Parker and two co-defendants to a January 19 attack on a Salina family, with a taped confession used as evidence.
