Royals sign 16-year-old Japanese pitcher Kaito Yuki

The Kansas City Royals announced the signing of 16-year-old Japanese pitcher Kaito Yuki from Osaka after he skipped high school. Yuki, a 6-2 right-hander born May 12, 2002, plans to start professional baseball next year. Salvador Perez named to his sixth straight All-Star Game with the Royals joining Kyle Turner as trainer representative. Perez has 11 home runs and 34 RBI this season.

River Bandits face three more MPL games in final stretch
