Karen Louise Lewis of Ottawa earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wichita State University where she played for the Lady Shockers. Erik Demarest of Baldwin City earned a piano audition certificate at Kansas Music Auditions tied to a Kansas Wesleyan University event. Angela Jones of Garnett won a $4,000 Kansas Association of Broadcasters scholarship, the first OU student to receive it, among six total recipients from Wichita State and the University of Kansas.
