O Grady faces possible PGA Tour suspension appeal
New York AP reports golfer Mac O Grady may seek legal action after a six event suspension for conduct unbecoming a professional golfer. His lawyer Steve Novak says a decision on appealing could come by Wednesday after the appeals committee affirmed the suspension. O Grady won the Hartford Open and faces a five thousand dollar fine while the suspension may start next Monday, potentially allowing him to play this week’s Anheuser Busch Classic in Williamsburg.
