Pvt. Shawn P. Wise, a 1993 Ottawa High School graduate, finished basic training at Fort Sill Oklahoma for the Kansas Army National Guard on May 19. He began advanced individual training May 20 at Ft. Sill and is set to complete August 3. Wise is the son of Steve and Diane Wise and grandson of Marty Wantland. Jennifer Voelmeck earns national Girl Scout honor for summer program in Dayton Ohio. Erika Sandusky named to dean's list at Sioux Falls College. Ottawa students Garvin and Klingele recognized at Kansas State University.
