The Ottawa Christian Women's Club hosts a campus luncheon at 12 30 p m July 10 in Mowbray Union Ottawa University with Audra Higbie presenting on bread products The program also features Alan Cunningham performing blue ribbon melodies and Pat Breckenridge speaking through Stonecroft Ministries Reservations are required by Tuesday with cancellations by Wednesday Call 242-1280 or 242-6388 A nursery is provided for younger children A prayer coffee follows at 1 p m tomorrow at Frances Wiggins residence Also two evangelists George Jones and Rev Jim Mason will lead a Bible seminar at Ottawa Christian Center nightly 7 o clock through next Friday Jones has a diverse aviation and mission background and is related to W V Grant Jr Mason is also an evangelist

Divorce sparks deadly courthouse shooting in Texas
Fort Worth reports a gunman, George Lout, 45, opened fire inside the Tarrant County Courthouse after a divorce case dispute. He killed prosecutor Chris Marshall and attorney John Edwards and wounded Judges John Hill Clyde Ashworth and assistant prosecutor Steve Conder before surrendering to police. Lout, who said he sought to expose flaws in the judicial system, claimed no victims were known to him and noted the courthouse lacked routine use of metal detectors.
