Ottawa man pleads guilty in child sex trafficking case
Richard J. Oflyng, 32, admitted in federal court in Kansas City Missouri to commercial sex trafficking of a child. The operation involved a staged sting by the Human Trafficking Rescue Project. Oflyng agreed to pay for sex with an 11 year old. He faces a minimum 15 years and could receive life without parole.
