Williamsburg Works Toward Community Building Goal
Williamsburg residents organized Jayhawker Day with three months of planning to spur a new community building. About $6,000 was raised, with expenses yet to be settled, plus funds pending. A street dance by the Sidekicks filled gaps when the original band canceled, and organizers left with lessons for future events while seeking further fundraising and activities.
