4-H'ers Join Activities Too At Chautauqua Days
Franklin County 4-H groups plan booths pony rides and floats at Forest Park July 3 4 to raise funds. Silver Leaf and Willing Workers fields feature a parade float leathercraft booths and tattooing with washable designs. Parade Saturday at 5 p.m. Booths open after the parade at 6 p.m. and again Sunday at noon. In Manhattan a Kansas State University survey reports 40 undecided about postsecondary plans from 384 respondents and lists favorites among state and nonstate colleges.
