Valleria M Baldwin 96 Overbrook died Tuesday at an Overbrook nursing home after long illness. Cremation planned with private burial at Overbrook Cemetery. Born August 4, 1900, she married Robert Baldwin in 1920. they ran a farm, Baldwin Grocery in Topeka, and later worked at state and private jobs. Survived by daughter Emmanie Baldwin Samples, sister Lela Atherton, brother Everett Krouse, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Dan C McBride 50 Princeton died Jan 28 1997. funeral arrangements pending. James Cowan 82 Garnett died Jan 29 1997. services set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Farris Feuerborn Memorial Chapel Garnett. Burial in Garnett Cemetery follows. Survived by wife Elizabeth Romine Cowan, two stepchildren, sisters, three grandchildren, and a great-grandson. Memorials to Home Health Services or American Cancer Society.
