State Flower Quilt and Soup Benefit by La Sertoma Ladies
La Sertoma and Sertoma Clubs host a fundraising event at the Masonic Hall offering hot soup from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. onward. A $150 scholarship will be awarded to a high school or college student, and a handmade state flower quilt will be drawn for. Tickets are three for a dollar from Nitcher's Rainbow Beauty Bar Benner-Williams and June's Shop.

Rebekah Installs Mrs. Willa Green as Noble Grand
Rebekah Lodge in Quenemo held its last meeting during which Mrs. Willa Green of Quenemo was installed as Noble Grand. Installing District Deputy President Mrs. Doris Reed presided. Past president Lela Comstock asked Fannie Bernard to escort Mrs. Green to the center as Elaine Smith presented a silver dove pin, emblem of the year, and Louise Brittingham was installed as Vice Grand. Refreshments followed the ceremonies.
