Cyclone wrestlers face toughest Chanute meet yet
Ottawa High School wrestlers head to the Chanute Invitational starting Saturday at 9 a.m. with top state contenders such as Goddard Mill Valley Ark City Pittsburg and Topeka Seaman. Coach Joe Tokarz says the field is stacked and the meet will help evaluate readiness for regionals while learning and adjusting ahead of late season. Ottawa recently lost 39-29 to Louisburg but saw bright spots including wins by Blaine Ray Jared Parenti and Drew Nutt plus strong performances from Jayden Creach and Brett Ferguson.
