North Central Kansas school honors first honor roll names
The Beloit area vocational school announced its 1994-95 first honor roll and honorable mention recipients. Honorable mention requires a 3.0 to 3.79 GPA and includes Ken Bienhoff Ottawa auto mechanics Jesse Wagner Baldwin City heavy equipment operation and William Vesecky Baldwin City diesel mechanics. The Ottawa Senior Citizens marked their 18th anniversary with 117 attendees, door prizes, and music by Bill and Arlene Butts. The Mary Blick Union installed officers Ann Sommers president Goldie Wadkins treasurer and Ellen Greenfield recording secretary. Kansas State University named 1 383 scholastic honors students for fall 1994 with names from Franklin Osage and Douglas counties including Ottawa Richmond Overbrook and Baldwin City.
