Patriot Franklin County residents witness history at inauguration
Ottawa residents Helen Hood and her brother along with Julie Couch drove 17 hours to Washington for Inauguration Day. They stayed in Frederick, joined by volunteers in handicapped seating and met attendees from across the country. Hood and Couch praised the kindness of strangers and shared a memorable moment when a Kansas shirt sparked a touching exchange.
