County Commission Minutes Highlight Local Upgrades and Rezoning
Franklin County Board of Commissioners held a regular session chaired by John E. Taylor with Hay Stottlemire Waymire present. Ted McCurdy proposed upgrading three defibrillators for 18 148 50 and purchasing a Biphasic unit for the City Fire Department ambulance. The board discussed reviving a 911 Board and hiring an Emergency Management Director. They approved payroll changes and addressed zoning matters including a special use permit for Underwood Equipment and rezoning proposals by Robert Peine and Dale Vanslyke. An executive session addressed personnel matters before adjourning at 11 00.
