At 3 15 p m on Tuesday officers arrested 21 year old Derek Joseph Fletcher of Princeton in the 600 block of South Poplar Street on an active Ottawa city warrant and suspicion of possession of marijuana.
Police log notes a juvenile reported being battered by another juvenile on South Ash Street at 11 30 a.m. Tuesday. A 21 year old Ottawa woman reported her purse stolen from her vehicle on South Sycamore Street at 12 30 p.m. Tuesday. A 53 year old Edgerton woman reported a broken business window on East 23rd Street at 10 24 a.m. Tuesday.
Police logs list a battery report in the 200 block of Prairie Lane and civil matters on Main Street, plus a cooking fire at 410 South Hickory Street investigated by Ottawa Fire Department.

Survived by wife Karen Allard, children Michelle, Rachel, Katie, Dalton, Justin, Kyle, Jason, five grandchildren, two brothers and other relatives. Burial details and viewing times listed.
Ray Adelbert Talbott 85 of Ottawa died January 19 2011. Services will be 10 a m Saturday at First Christian Church Ottawa. He served in the US Army 398th Bomb Group earning three Bronze Stars and the Air Medal. He worked 37 years as a Telegraph Clerk for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was a longtime member of many Masonic and civic groups. Survived by wife Marilyn. daughters Cheryl Swearingen and Sheila Dale. sister Irene Roberts. grandchildren and great grandchildren. Burial with military honors at Highland Cemetery Ottawa. Memorials to First Christian Church in care of Dengel & Son Mortuary.
