The Red Room First Ladies Dresses Exhibit Opens
The Smithsonian National Museum of History and Technology in Washington hosts a display titled The Red Room featuring dresses worn by Mrs. Carter Mrs. Ford Mrs. Nixon Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Kennedy. Most were worn at Inaugural Balls and the exhibit showcases nine rooms of presidential term era gowns.
