Ex-wife wins estate battle over Jerry Garcia payments

Carolyn Mountain Girl Garcia, ex-wife of Jerry Garcia, has won a court ruling granting her about 21,000 dollars per month from his estate. The payments had been cut off by Garcia's widow after his death. The long dispute traces to a 1993 divorce settlement that provided 250,000 dollars annually for 20 years.
