Chamber of Commerce leader to resign after 11 years
Lou Atherton, head of the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce, announced his resignation after more than a decade of service. He will stay on the board until May 1. He led economic development efforts, recruited major employers including the Walmart Distribution Center, and credited volunteers and staff for Ottawa Franklin County growth.
