Renaissance wraps up Ottawa High School program second year
Ottawa High School wraps its Renaissance program for the semester in its second year as it grows with new events. A valedictorian display for 1990s graduates will open in Cyclone Room, while efforts push for more perfect attendance and a possible 20 percent rise in perfect records next six weeks. An OHS car of the month club, led by Paula Mader and Gary Kuntz, will award a $100 savings bond to the winner after safety checks and voting, with monthly applications and eligibility tied to attendance. Semester Renaissance awards include a special t shirt for about 300 students and more events in planning to honor academic excellence.
