Fire official suspended in Kansas City crash theft probe
A Kansas City fire department official is suspended amid an investigation into alleged theft from the crash site of a four engine cargo plane that killed Capt. Robert Diaz and two crew members. The case will go to Wyandotte County prosecutors as police report theft of about 900 dollars from Diaz's pocket during evidence gathering. Diaz's body was recovered after more than 27 hours underwater.
