Born April 30 1915 in Baldwin City he lived in Wellsville before moving to Ottawa in 1948. He was a self employed livestock dealer married Edna Anna Lee in 1943. Survived by son Don Leach brother Russell sister Helen Pride four grandchildren seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister. Burial at Dengel & Son Mortuary Ottawa.

Doris Marie Taylor, 82, of Columbus Junction Iowa died Monday January 12 2004 at Washington County Hospital Washington Iowa Funeral services were Thursday at Stacy Lewis Funeral Home Columbus Junction officiated by Rev Cathy Whitlatch She was born April 5 1921 in Gardner to Carl Monroe and Abigail Millington She and her husband farmed in Kansas and she worked as a drug store clerk in Wellsville She worked at Sunflower Ordnance Works near De Soto 1943 to 1945 She married Eldon P Taylor February 29 1940 in Topeka She was a member of NCHA Jay Hawk Club and River Fork Rovers Resident of Columbus since 1969 she wrote book reviews for the Columbus Gazette and belonged to United Methodist Church Survivors include daughter Tamie P Taylor Columbus City son John E Taylor Ottawa granddaughter Preceded in death by son Kim Millington four brothers Wes Floyd Fred Jack and a sister Louise Ranell Graveside services were at 11 am Saturday Wellsville Cemetery The family received friends 9 to 11 am Thursday at Stacy Lewis Funeral Home A luncheon followed at Columbus Junction United Methodist Church Online condolences through www.lewisfuneralhomes.com
