Wesleyan Knocks Ottawa From Unbeaten Streak In ECAC Clash
Kansas Wesleyan held Ottawa to 26 percent first half shooting and won 76 to 73 in Sacred Heart High School gym. Bruce Johnson and Manfred Sasser led KWU with 18 and 19 points as Wesleyan surged to a halftime lead and preserved the edge with clutch free throws in the final minutes. Ottawa, now 6-3, was hurt by poor early shooting and a dominant KWU rebounding effort led by Jack Stoller.
