RANTOUl. The Rantoul City Council will not name a replacement for the late council member Barbara Stoulemire until at least the Feb 3 meeting. Stoutlemire, 41, served three terms and died Jan 1 after a lengthy cancer battle. City water supervisor Bill Potter and council member Bret Jackson will study the plan. The council voted to end bulk water sales and to extend health insurance benefits to Poet. Dennis Lederer, 24, remained in fair condition after being pinned under a tractor near Baldwin Junction. his wife Lori delivered a daughter. Osawatomie authorities identified a body as Hilda Richardson, missing since Dec 30 amid an arson investigation into the house fire. No homicide ruling yet.
