Wellsville High School used a strong press to beat Prairie View 51 to 34, improving to 4 3. Head coach Jared Schultz praised tempo and noted many players saw time as the team prepared for a visit to Osawatomie next Friday.

Ottawa High School defeated Paola 66 to 42 as Semi Ojeleye led with 21 points and James Peoples added a career best 17. The Cyclones attacked inside, converted 25 free throws, and built a 33 15 halftime lead fueled by a loud home crowd and improved ball movement. Paola battled early but Ottawa pulled away in the second quarter and never looked back.
