Ralph L Everman dies in California at 80
Ralph Lee Everman of Los Gatos California dies Tuesday January 5 1999 in San Jose at age 80. Born May 31 1918 in Ottawa he was a machinist for Standard Oil 32 years and a deacon at El Sobrante Methodist Church. He is survived by two sons four sisters a grandchild and two great grandchildren. Funeral 11 a m Tuesday at Connolly and Taylor Chapel Martinez with burial at Rolling Hills Memorial Park Richmond. Memorials to Martinez United Methodist Church.

A 15 year old girl Andrea Garrett died after a boy she had been dating was seriously wounded in a boys bathroom at Central High School in Carrollton around 9 30 am. Jeff Miller, 17, was airlifted to Tanner Medical Center. The incident was investigated as a possible double attempted suicide. The school system secretary noted uncertainty about a note. The 920 students were dismissed 15 minutes later.
