Franklin County Students Win KSU Study Abroad Scholarships

Several Franklin County natives were awarded study abroad scholarships for the spring 2012 semester through Kansas State University. Andrea Fouts and Ellen Ouellette received Global Education Initiative Scholarships, Veronica Bonebrake and Jennifer Birzer earned regional awards for the United Kingdom, France and Australia. The university selected 82 students overall for international study, with programs ranging from short-term faculty-led trips to yearlong exchanges.
