Pen collection grows with 1100 items from coast to coast
Ottawa public works employee John Fritts has built a basement display featuring about 1100 pens and pencils. The collection includes advertising pens, a Moon pen, a chiropractor pen, and items from the United States, West Germany, and Vancouver. Fritts sources pieces from relatives, friends, and travel, displaying them on pegboards across two basement walls.
