Occupy Protest Follows Rose Parade in Pasadena
The Rose Parade drew 40 million viewers as 44 floats and 16 bands rolled through Pasadena under clear skies. Separately, about 250 protesters marched behind a long We the People banner and a 70-foot octopus made of recycled bags, criticizing corporate influence and money in politics. Police reported 10 arrests overnight, including four felonies, with deputies in riot gear observing the scene.
