Retired Kansas judge Morris Hoobler dies at 77
Salina Kansas AP Retired judge Morris Hoobler who served Salina and Ottawa counties for 17 years and oversaw court unification died at 77 on Sunday in a Salina hospital. He was administrative judge of the district for 13 years before retiring in 1984. After retirement he spent winters in Las Vegas but fell ill with pneumonia and was brought home by his daughter.
