Sebelius delays presidential endorsement until 2008
Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius said she will not back a Democratic presidential candidate before 2008, focusing her efforts on helping elect governors in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Kentucky this year. She chairs the Democratic Governors Association and will work to raise money and organize for candidates in 11 more races in 2008 while reviewing races in North Carolina Indiana and Delaware. She defended Rep Nancy Boyda over Republican criticism of her vote on a military construction funding bill for Fort Riley and Fort Leavenworth.

Supporters warn minors face harm from obscenity in novels and films, and argue the defense would allow illegal material to be shown in classrooms.
