Digital mammogram cuts exam times at Ransom Memorial
Brenda Fredricks, a mammographer at Ransom Memorial Hospital, praises the digital mammography system installed in 2010 for halving exam times. She notes screenings now take about 10 minutes, allows lunch-hour appointments, and has boosted monthly mammograms from 150–160 to 180–200. The hospital logged 269 screenings during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
