West Franklin FFA Chapter Sees Growth in Membership and Activity
West Franklin FFA shows strong growth led by a robust freshman class with potential leaders emerging. Students traveled to Ottawa on Feb 16 for Agricultural Communications and Meats Judging and to Burlington on Feb 24 for Dairy Foods and Poultry Judging. The chapter staffed fundraisers and community events, including caroling with FCCLA FBLA and NHS, a chili supper, and a fruit and meat fundraiser. FFA week activities included daily events such as donuts, pizza night, teacher breakfast, and shirt day. The group aims to compete at the state level more often with continued study and preparation.
