State tourney wrestling pairings set for Wichita and Hays
The Kansas State High School Activities Association released first round pairings for the upcoming state wrestling tournaments. Ottawa leads with five qualifiers for Class 4A in Wichita, while Anderson County, Wellsville, and Central Heights also send wrestlers to the events. First round action starts Friday at 9:30 a.m., with consolation rounds and finals scheduled across the day and into Saturday.
