Royals closer Soria seeks new nickname to replace Mexicutioner
Kansas City's Joakim Soria says the nickname The Mexicutioner has a negative connotation amid drug violence in Mexico. The right hander from Monclova, Coahuila, wants a change while continuing to excel, having saved 43 games last season and earned a second All Star selection. He is open to any new moniker or simply staying as Joakim Soria.
